Last updated: 15 May 2026
Effective date: 1 June 2026
This Cookies Policy describes the use of cookies and similar technologies on the website https://www.mmerge.io (the "Site") owned by Merge Digital SL ("MERGE"). It forms an integral part of the Privacy Policy and complies with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) guidance on the use of cookies and the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) guidelines.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on the user's device (computer, mobile, tablet) when visited. They allow the site to remember information about the visit, which may facilitate navigation, personalise content or measure use of the Site.
Together with cookies in the strict sense, similar technologies are used (pixels, web beacons, browser local storage, scripts) which receive the same legal treatment for these purposes.
2. Types of cookies
By ownership
- First-party cookies: those sent and managed directly from the Site's domain.
- Third-party cookies: those sent and managed by third parties (e.g. Google, LinkedIn) when the Site incorporates their functionalities.
By duration
- Session cookies: deleted when the browser is closed.
- Persistent cookies: remain for a specified period.
By purpose
- Strictly necessary or technical: essential for the operation of the Site (for example, maintaining the ticket cart, remembering language choice, cookie consent management). They do not require consent.
- Preferences or personalisation: remember user options (language, region, display settings).
- Analytics or measurement: allow MERGE to understand how the Site is used in order to improve it and produce aggregated statistics.
- Advertising and marketing: allow management of advertising and measurement of campaign performance, on and off the Site.

4. Legal basis for the processing
- Strictly necessary cookies are installed under Article 22(2) LSSI-CE, which exempts them from the requirement of prior consent.
- The remaining cookies (preferences, analytics, marketing) require the prior, free, specific, informed and unambiguous consent of the user, given through the Site's cookie management banner. The user may accept all, reject all or individually configure the categories.
Rejection does not prevent navigation through the Site; it only limits certain functionalities or personalisations.
5. Consent management and withdrawal
The user may at any time:
- Change their preferences by accessing the cookie management panel (permanent link in the Site's footer).
- Withdraw previously given consent.
- Configure their browser to block, delete or warn before installing cookies.
